The first project following the name change to Micah Lim (from MellowYellow), this was no doubt the toughest album I’ve had to make, both emotionally and technically. Following a long line of painful events dealing with loss, self-doubt, and struggles with identity and self, I felt trapped in my mind. In such a claustrophobic headspace, it took me over 2 years to finish this project. In the end, this entire album was cathartic, and it was no doubt a group effort with contributions from John, Amar, cathead, Juke, and Rayyan. There’s a lot to be discussed about this album, from the cover art to the storyline, and I’m very open to talking about it!
